Sarah has worked with clients face-to-face since 1997, defining their personal image and style. Her remote service allows you to experience the same style analysis from wherever you are located. Sarah bases her analysis on who you are - your personality, body architecture, and your presence - the energy you have. Image Profiling is the process of understanding your psychology and creating an Image and Style that correlates with who you are. To achieve this end, Sarah uses various tests, questions and analysis that she has carefully developed after extensive research to obtain the relevant information from you. The results then match into her Image Type system, the thirty-five image types that are the basis of her work and that each reflect a unique psychology, physiology and presence.
How does the Distance Consultation work?
The Distance Image Profiling Consultation uses a Remote Questionnaire which includes the personality test and the questions that she would ask you in a face-to-face consultation, in addition to the colour and body shape analysis. Once you have completed this questionnaire, Sarah analyses the information to start to draw a picture in her mind of your Image Type. Sarah also asks for photographs of you to confirm her findings. The Telephone Consultation allows both Sarah and the client to clarify answers on the questionnaire and to explore further your unique qualities and to determine your Image Type. You are then provided with a written personal Image Profile following the phone consultation.
Frequently asked questions about the Distance Consultation
How can you define my Image Type remotely?
There are many aspects to an individual that reveals their personal image and who they are. It is not simply a matter of looking at what they are wearing and through a process of elimination and through trying on different outfits figuring out their style. It is a much more complex process. Every aspect of what you are contributes to who you are and every part of you exists to complete your image as a whole. So, I can find clues in your body shape, body architecture, your colouring, what you say about yourself, what others say about you, your relationships to others, what you wanted to be when you grew up, and so on... A photograph is sufficient for me to see a visual of you as all other aspects of who you are reinforce what I see (expressed in the questionnaire and further questions I may ask you in the telephone conversation) . It is a matter of connecting the dots to make the right connection.
Aren't face-to-face Consultations easier to analyse?
No.Most people are intrigued as to how the remote works in comparison to the face-to-face consultation. I myself developed the system that I use, so I have become very familiar with understanding what to look for and what to ask for in order to obtain the information I need. The consultation is very accurate and my clients are invariably surprised at the information I pick up about them through their answers in the questionnaire, their photos and the communication by phone. In fact, I believe in many ways the remote consultation is easier, because instead of wasting time on travel and managing the work environment where the consultation is taking place, I simply get to focus more time on you, have less distractions, and we get to keep the attention on the essential. The client also feels more involved in the process with completing the questionnaire and feels they have more access to me as we communicate more throughout the process.
What if I don't answer the questions in the questionnaire correctly? Could you arrive at the wrong conclusion?
The aim with my profiling consultations is to identify your true image and help you express that through a style which I believe is best illustrated using an archetype i.e. the Image Types. After working for many years with my Image Types I know what to look for to determine the answers, whether it be a kink in your hair, your posture or your personal interests, I know what to look for or to ask to come to my conclusions. So, if you write something that doesn't tie up, I will notice. It will normally stand out or be compensated by some other answer or statement you have made. Your photograph also allows me to see if there is an inconsistency between what you are saying and who you really are.
How is the colour assessment carried out remotely?
Colour is a universal language and you have your own unique colour psychology and colour palette. This ties in with your personality and your presence. According to studies, we start to lose our natural ability and intuition with knowing our own colours from about 10 years old. The colours that suit you are determined by your own skin tone and colouring. This is not a simple test that you can do by comparing hair and eye colour - you can not say someone with blue eyes and brown hair will best suit a particular colour range, for example. My assessment includes looking at the clients natural hair and eye colour, the colours they are naturally drawn to and the colours they have in their wardrobe. Also, by referring back to the questionnaire I can tie it together to see whether your colour psychology matches with your image type and your own personality.
How long does the process take?
Once I receive the questionnaire and the photos, within 3 days I contact the client for an telephone appointment time. I then provide the profile for the client within 5 working days of the consult. I will email the profile and send a hard copy in the post along with the colour info and worksheets and colour swatch.
What if I just am not happy with the service and it does not meet my expectation?
Insideout will be happy to offer a full refund should you not be happy with the service, within 45 days of the payment.
How do I get started?

You can pay for the consultation by credit card - visa, mastercard or Amex or by Paypal or if you are in the UK by bank transfer. You will be sent the questionnaire upon payment and then information regarding photos required when you return the questionnaire.
