The Wardrobe Shrink July Newsletter July 31, 2007 |
|||
Hello and welcome to the latest issue of The Wardrobe Shrink Newsletter. ![]() What's NewThis month, I have been featured in Life & Style magazine here in the U.S. - "Men's Dating Styles" in July 30th issue. I also am featured in Costco Magazine's August issue. Coming up, Las Vegas Review Journal this week, and Harpers Bazaar Dubai later this month. More press is happening in the next few months, so I will keep you updated. All articles I am in the process of posting up on my website for people to view.I had some exciting developments this week. Not only this my birthday week, but I can now fit into my old jeans! Since moving to the US, I have put on weight as I have adjusted to the different lifestyle (and diet) of living in a smaller town, compared to the fast pace of city life in London and San Francisco. This only bothered me as I could no longer fit into my favourite clothes. Although I bought new favourite pieces, I still wanted to be able to fit into my old jeans. And after doing a cleanse, I lost some of my weight and inches, and yesterday I tried on my jeans and was ecstatic to discover they fit! It is frustrating when you are stuck at the same mark on the scales for months on end, and regardless of what you do nothing seems to work. But this did! So, I have included my cleanse program in the 'Best Buys' for this month. The chosen article for July is 'Faces of Time' - how to find a watch that suits you. Read on to read the full article. Best Buy9 Day ProgramIsagenix offer a 9 Day Cleanse program that helped me get back into my jeans. I wanted a quality product that supported my body throughout the cleanse, and helped shed weight as a bonus. Weight loss was probably my third reason for doing it though. The top reason was to cleanse myself of some antibotics I had to take earlier in the month, and then no. 2 reason was for spiritual purposes - just to have a clearer mind for everyday life. The cleanse involved x2 two day cleanses with just liquid, and then special snacks for hunger pangs. Then the rest of the days were 2 shake replacement meals in the morning and evening, and a reasonable sized meal at lunch. I never found myself losing my mind, having extreme headaches or feeling really sick. I lost 5lbs, 10.5 inches and probably about 1.5 dress sizes. And now I fit into my Paige denims again. I also feel my body has a better shape. The protein helps maintain your muscle, whilst burning fat. If you want to order the 9 day program or 30 day program, you can view more about it at their website. I signed up so people could order, as you can only buy it through a distributor network.Faces of TimeWearing a watch is important in terms of personal image. Your watch indicates to others that you value your time and theirs, and it says that you can be counted on to be on time. With the fashionable watches that are made today, the watch is no longer simply a timepiece or an image enhancer, but also a style statement. Designs range from full ‘bling’, to bold colors, to unusual materials. However, the main purpose of a watch is that is an extension of the wearer. And the first step to achieving that is in the watch face. The watch face should reflect your own face shape for it to sit comfortably on your body and to become part of you. If you have a curved, soft body shape then an angular and structured watch is going to stand out on your like a sore thumb, and vice versa. Here are some sample watches in different shapes to help you find the right watch for you.RectangularYour face shape is rectangle if you have a longer forehead, jaw-line and narrower face, and the jawline and forehead are the similar width.Betsey Johnson $95
