|||
Hello and welcome to latest issue of The Wardrobe Shrink Newsletter. ![]() What's NewNew E-BookI have just launched my first e-book - "The Wardrobe Shrink Scrapbook" - 95 pages of illustrations and advice for women on how to dress according to your body shape, with all the style terminology for clothing in stores. Including illustrations and body guides for tops, dresses, jackets, coats, skirts, trousers, shoes, sleeves, necklines, tums & bums. You learn your body shape, proportions and architecture and then match it to the style of garment that works best for you. I also have included fabric swatches for styles and detail of patterns, so you know which patterns are most flattering. There is a glossary at the back with detailed information on each style and explaining what it looks like and what it works for. The illustrations are all hand-drawn and taken from my own scrapbook and relate to the different cuts and shapes that I refer to in image profiles. You can now pay for e-books or distance consultations by credit card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard or Paypal) securely on my site with my new 'boutique' interface. Animal Prints & TexturesOne of this season's trends is animal prints and textures. Luckily, high fashion designs are faux and simply mimic the colours and textures of animals and nature and aren't the real thing. The most popular animal print that tends to remain in fashion is leopard print, but this season giraffe print, zebra, cheetah, crocodile, snakeskin and pheasant are a feature of clothing and accessories. The prints are available as dense or sparse patterns, as accents, in different colours, and sizes. Depending on your personality, you can wear animal prints as an accent or head-to-toe. The best option is to accessorise your current look with a print – a pair of leggings, a shoe or a tunic top. If you wish to just experiment with an accent, opt for a wallet, headband, cellphone case or button in a print. You can alter the personality of a print by the style and shape of the garment. A zebra print tee in black and white has a different look than a zebra tee in royal blue and grey. Colour can change the personality of the print and make it more fun, romantic or dramatic and the style can make it ritzier or more sensual.
