The Devil Wears Prada, But What Should You Wear?
The multi-billion dollar fashion industry dictates the styles and trends, telling every woman what to wear. But, most women wear 25% of their wardrobe, 75% of the time. They have a wardrobe full of clothes but feel they have nothing to wear! Each season the fashions change; the fads hit the high street, offshoots from the Haute Couture catwalk and suddenly last season's wardrobe is passé and redundant. How does a woman keep up? The Wardrobe Shrink helps women build a capsule wardrobe that lasts beyond the current fashion season. With her technique "Image Profiling", Sarah Whittaker dresses clients according to their psychology. "The most important ingredient to any wardrobe is you and not the current fashions. A woman with style understands that first and foremost the clothes must harmonize with her in order to make a true statement and have lasting value." Sarah developed 35 "Image Types" that act as templates or archetypes to determine your individual style and way of dress. Your Image Type will resonate with your personality, physiology and presence and recommend the style of clothes and finish, fabric, texture, and cut that work best for you. Once you learn your Image Type, then you can choose the fashions and designers that complement you and your look - you don't have to wear Prada! Are you a Parisienne, a Trixie Pixie, a Prairie Girl or Majestic...to name a few of the Image Types? A British image expert, Sarah set up her business, Insideout, in London and now is based in the U.S.A. She consults with clients internationally though her remote Distance Consultation, profiling clients with an on-line Image Questionnaire and Telephone Consult to determine their Image Type. Sarah also shops remotely for clients in the U.K., Europe and the U.S. providing them with suggested styles and designer picks that match their image type. Some clients are looking for a complete Image package - a consult, wardrobe review and shop, a service that is offered face-to-face. Sarah has been featured in The Times who referred to her as The Wardrobe Shrink, The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Heat magazine, Marie Claire magazine and more publications in the U.K and Europe. In the U.S, The Atlanta Journal, Skirt magazine, and she has a weekly Saturday column in the Savannah Morning News. Sarah has also consulted with L'Oreal, Pantene, Pearl Drops …as an Image Expert on colour psychology and theory, and personal image and style.
