The Shift Dress Let’s take a peak inside your fall wardrobe! The shift dress is one of this fall’s staple fashion pieces. Originating from the late 50’s, the shift is a slimmer fit dress, with a round neckline, in an a-line shape falling from the arm seam to just above the knee, and with no natural waist. The dress was also referred to as the sheath dress or sack dress. Like all fads, the look takes on a new tone to match the current trends. The styles this fall season can be belted and can be quite wide, following the ‘trapeze’ look. Here are some of the themes that are hitting the high street this fall.
Beaded The jeweled look mirrors the 60’s party style. Party dresses are popular this fall, so you can upgrade your look for the day with some evening jewels styled on your dress, without having to wear any actual jewelry. Karta at Shopintuition.com$211
