Autumn/Winter Trends 2006


The new fall collections have already hit the stores and so too the fashion trends for the season. Look out for a broad range of styles and textures. The essentials for your wardrobe this fall are luxurious fabrics – tartan, velvet or chiffons, colours – neutrals – neutrals especially black, textures – animal prints and fur.  The jacket is making more of a comeback this season with a Romantic Military look. Punk is making a breakthrough with layers - tunic dresses over leggings and boyish cuts.  The feminine lines from spring are still present with delicate blouses, quaint dresses and bold prints, and the Dress still is a staple item.
